Siemens Acvatix Ball Valves Make Perfect Business Sense

Acvatix Ball Valves - Control Ball Valves - Ball Valves

Siemens Acvatix ball valve

Siemens Building Technologies Acvatix extensive range of control ball valves make an excellent choice for your business needs due to their outstanding flexibility, easy operation, high efficiency and long-lasting quality.

Control ball valves are used for continuous and precise control in closed circuits in cold and hot water systems. The ball valves are highly efficient and have zero leakage. Control ball valves are ideal for heating groups, chilled ceilings, fan coil units, VAV, zone control and are hugely recommended for air handling units.

Siemens offers a complete ball valve portfolio which has a suitable model for each application. The ball valves are completely water-tight in accordance with EN60534-4 L1 which stops costly circulation errors. They also have a high resistance to dirt due to the valve characteristic being integrated into the ball which is a further benefit.

Additionally, their comprehensive range of products includes internal and external threads, along with control open/close and changeover ball valves providing a good degree of flexibility. The externally threaded ball valves achieve flow values (kvs) of 1 to 63 m3/h and are available in nominal sizes from DN15 to DN50. They support a closing of up to 1,400 kPa and a maximum differential pressure of 350 kPa. They are suitable for media temperatures between -10°C and 120°C.

All Acvatix ball valves are made of dezincification-resistant brass and the balls are also polished and chromium-plated. Manufactured to precision; the balls help minimise friction, therefore allowing you to use actuators with a lower torques. Crucially, this saves both equipment and energy costs.

What’s more, the control ball valves can be conveniently combined with the Siemens OpenAir electromotoric actuators and used in an ambient temperature range from -32°C to 55°C. The actuators can be personalised in terms of cable length, cable type, logo and connector system, again showcasing their flexible approach. Bayonet mounting of actuator to valve make for an easy assembly since no tools are required.

Siemens provides you with a safe pair of hands by offering a user-friendly app; so if you have misplaced your instructions you can simply use the HVAC Integrated Tool (HIT) app to scan the Data Matrix Code (DMC) on the product. In turn, you would receive full, practical product training, extensive technical literature and helpful tools. Quality and reliability is assured given the product’s long, maintenance-free service life.
