Danfoss Heating - CPD Training & Seminars

CPD Training - CPD Seminars - Hydronic Heating - Cooling Systems

Danfoss Heating - CPD Training

Danfoss has created a range of seminars, designed for mechanical engineers, to explain the new technologies, key questions and challenging applications, raised in the design and installation of hydronic heating and cooling systems.

The seminars are designed to be delivered within one hour, at the premises of designers, contractors and other relevant industry partners. They are delivered by our Business Development Managers to ensure they are relevant to the requirements of the audience.

Some of our seminars can count towards your CIBSE CPD requirement.

Designing Heat Networks CPD
Heat Networks are a hot topic for the construction industry, with existing systems being modernised, new networks being created, and with significant moves from DECC and local authorities, to support and fund future projects.

Networks come in the form of traditional, town wide, district heating schemes, schemes which supply hospital and university campuses from a single energy source, and centralised residential heating and cooling systems.

This seminar has been created to inform engineers of the latest developments in the Heat Network sectors, to offer solutions to maximise efficiency in the networks, and to update designers and local authorities on the ‘Heat networks legislation for metering and billing’ requirements for energy metering.

Topics include:

  • What is a Heat Network
  • Maximising Efficiency in a Heat Network (Heat Generation and Distribution, Transfer of Heat Throughout the Network, Encouraging Efficient Network Usage)
  • Resources to aid Network Design
