Waterloo - Business Continuity Update

Waterloo business continuity

We are still operational across all departments and are continuing to support our customers; taking orders, manufacturing and delivering product where customer's sites remain open.

Currently there are no increases in product lead times and our logistics network is delivering its standard next day service.

We are maintaining a strong focus on providing a safe working environment for our employees, adapting our processes and working procedures to keep the Waterloo team safe and ensure that we are properly following government guidelines.

A number of our team members are self-isolating if they or any members of their household's have shown symptoms that may be Covid 19 related. Some colleagues have come through isolation, are well and have returned to work.

Balancing available staff across our manufacturing facility currently allows us to run at 75% of our normal capacity.

Our factory team have been divided into 3 shifts with a one-hour fire-break interval between each shift. This is enabling us to offer increased protection to our employees, whilst ensuring continued supply to our customers.

We currently have 95% of our office-based colleagues working remotely. They have full access to email and IT systems and phone calls are being automatically diverted, so all usual communication channels are open.

We are keeping in close contact with all our key suppliers, and currently less than 10% are closed. Where we've been informed of closures, we are utilising alternative suppliers to maintain continuity.

We understand that the current situation is a changeable one. It is possible that our operations could be impacted in the future by further constraints related to the pandemic. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and keep you updated of any change.

If you have any pending orders, then please finalise the details with us as soon as possible so that production capacity and raw material can be allocated.

Best wishes from the Waterloo Team & Stay Safe.
